How do I remove blemishes in Photoshop?

By SYMONE SEVEN

Sometimes, we can take a beautiful image and there are distracting blemishes taking the focus away from what we intended to focus our lens on. Eliminate the acne, debris, stray hairs and all with the spot healing brush. This is the quickest way to turn a bad skin day into a good one.

Here are the steps to removing blemishes quickly in photoshop.

  1. Create a new Layer with keyboard shortcut COMMAND J

  2. Click on the SPOT HEALING BRUSH

  3. Click over the blemish spots.

  4. Drag your cursor over the blemish if it is more long than circular.

  5. Repeat until you’ve reached your desired look.

How do I whiten teeth in Photoshop?

By SYMONE SEVEN

A bright white smile is an inviting way to introduce an image. We as the photographer’s should be mindful of the difference a white smile can make in an image. I also pay attention to the white’s of the eyes as well for a clean image.

Steps to getting a white smile in photoshop

  1. Click the QUICK SELECTION TOOL

  2. Click and drag over the teeth to SELECT. Use OPTION - to erase

  3.  Click Adjustments

  4. Click on the HUE/SATURATION adjustment layer

  5. Choose YELLOWS from the color options, and turn down the SATURATION and turn up the LIGHTNESS.

  6. For extra whiteness, reselect by going to the SELECT TAB,

  7. Then click RESELECT

  8. Now you have the teeth back selected, go to SELECTED COLOR adjustment layer

  9. Turn down the BLACKS inside of the WHITE color option

  10. Done.
