This is the quick and dirty way to clean up frizzy hair in photoshop. It’s a method I use when I’m too lazy to go in with my clone stamp and remove the hairs individually. Aint nobody got time for that! Nope! Keep reading if you’re as impatient as I am
HOW TO RETOUCH FRIZZY HAIR
Make a layer copy with COMMAND J
Zoom in with COMMAND +
Grab the CLONE STAMP TOOL on 90% hardness and opacity and sample a clean area with OPTION
Carve out the hair, erasing the frizz by outlining the hair.
Sample and drag around the perimeter
Use the MIXER BRUSH TOOL with all settings on 26% to paint over the background. Don’t be afraid to be messy because of the next step.
Erase the MIXER BRUSH color off the subejct
My tip is to make sure you blend the edges of your quick CLONE STAMP tool work with the background.
